Structural Energetic Therapy, or SET, is a structural bodywork approach. Many massage techniques focus on the spot that feels tight. SET takes a wider view, looking at how tension and alignment patterns are held through the body as a whole, and uses focused, deep work to address those patterns.
Mano Vang, LMT, has more than 19 years of experience in massage and bodywork, and offers SET as an add-on to massage sessions. It pairs naturally with deep tissue and trigger point work.

What to expect
Your session begins with a conversation about where you feel tension, how long it has been there, and what you'd like to get out of the session. Mano then combines your massage with SET work on the areas that need it most.
SET can feel intense at times because it involves deep, focused pressure. Mano checks in throughout and adjusts to your comfort, so you can always ask Mano to slow down or ease up. Some soreness for a day or two afterward is normal, similar to after a hard workout.
