What P-DTR is

P-DTR stands for Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex. Your body is full of sensors, called receptors, that constantly tell your nervous system where you are, how you're moving, and what you're touching. P-DTR is a hands-on method that looks at how your body responds to those signals.

Using gentle muscle tests and simple stimulation of specific receptors, Mano Vang, LMT, looks for places where the body's responses seem "off." He then uses light techniques to help reset those patterns. Much of P-DTR is gentle and precise, which makes it very different from deep pressure work.

 

Who it may help

P-DTR may be a good fit if:

• You have tension or tightness that keeps coming back even after regular massage

• Certain movements feel weak, guarded, or "not quite right"

• You're an athlete or active person looking for a different approach alongside your training

Mano has worked with athletes including OU linemen and fighters, as well as everyday clients. P-DTR is not a medical treatment or a substitute for seeing your doctor. If you have an injury or medical condition, please check with your doctor first.

 

What to expect

Mano starts by asking about your history, where you're having trouble, and which movements bother you. He uses quick muscle tests and light touch to see how your body responds, and then applies P-DTR techniques where needed. Most of the time this is woven into your massage, together with deep tissue or trigger point work.

You stay clothed or draped throughout, and the testing itself is gentle. Many people find it surprisingly different from what they expect from a massage.

 

Pricing

P-DTR is included in a regular massage session at no extra cost:

• 60 minutes: $135

• 75 minutes: $175

• 90 minutes: $195

SET (Structural Energetic Therapy) can be added to any session for $65.
