Cupping Therapy in Broken Arrow

What cupping is

Most massage works by pressing into the muscle. Cupping works the other way. Cups placed on the skin create gentle suction that lifts the skin and the soft tissue underneath.

Mano Vang, LMT, uses cupping as part of massage sessions, often alongside deep tissue and trigger point work. With more than 19 years of experience, Mano chooses where and how to use the cups based on what your body needs that day.

Who it may help

Cupping may help people who:

  • Have tight areas in the back, shoulders, or hips

  • Want a different sensation than traditional pressure-based massage

  • Are active or train regularly and want extra attention on tight muscles

Mano has worked with athletes including OU linemen and fighters, as well as clients who simply want to feel looser and more comfortable. If you have a skin condition, take blood thinners, or have a medical concern, please mention it before your session and check with your doctor if you're unsure.

What to expect

Mano will talk with you about where you feel tight and whether cupping makes sense for those areas. Many people describe cupping as a deep stretching or pulling sensation. It is usually not painful, and Mano can adjust the suction if it feels like too much.

Cupping often leaves round, reddish or purple marks on the skin. These marks are temporary and usually fade over several days. If you have a wedding, photo shoot, or other event coming up, plan your session with that in mind.

Pricing

Cupping is included in a regular massage session at no extra cost. Massage session prices are:

  • 60 minutes: $135

  • 75 minutes: $175

  • 90 minutes: $195

Just mention you'd like cupping when you book, and Mano will work it into your session.
